Many organic compounds dissolved in water absorb UV light and fluoresce. Therefore, by measuring the intensity of the excitation light of these organic substances, the content of dissolved organic pollutants in water can be accurately measured. The BOD-406 online BOD sensor adopts
two light sources, one ultraviolet light is used to measure the BOD content in water, and one reference light is used to measure the water turbidity. In addition, the optical path attenuation is compensated by a specific algorithm, and the granularity can be eliminated to a certain extent. The interference of suspended matter impurities, so as to achieve a more stable and reliable measurement.
